ENTRY RULES
1. PREAMBLE
This is a Contest for digital images only. The competition is open to all amateur and professional photographers from all over the world. All entrants accept entry rules. All entrants must possess all rights of their images. All images and part of images must be entirely the work of the entrant. Images submitted may be used free of charge for the catalogue and other publicity in connection with the exhibition. Also may be used for promotional use for digital or printed materials for the purposes of the International Organization “World Without Wars and Violence”. There is no possibility for legal action. The photo contest will be conducted according to FIAP regulations.

[M] MONOCHROME
[CR] CREATIVE
[S] STUDENTS UP TO 16.
The theme of each section is “CHILDREN’S RIGHTS”.
3. COMPETITION DIVISIONS
All acceptances are counting for FIAP titles.
4. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES (Upload)
The images must be uploaded as “.jpg” files onto our Homepage. Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) photographs to each section. After successful upload and payment, each entrant will receive a confirmation.
5. IMAGE SIZE
Image file sizes should not be bigger than 1Mb. Maximum Width/Height 2000 pixels; 300 dpi; sRGB;
6. IMAGE FILE NAMING
The file name should be as you would want it to appear in the catalogue. Each image must have a unique title. Only mark Section and ordinal number. For Example: “C1-Photo name.jpg”. The file name should not be over 25 characters. Use only English alphabet.
7. LIST OF ACCEPTANCE AND RESULT
Each participant will receive a report (report card) via email.
8. ENTRY FEE
The entry fee is mandatory for all participants and is Euro 12 (US$ 15) for 1 of the 3 first sections [C], [M] & [CR] or Euro 15 (US$ 20) for 2 or 3 of the first 3 sections [C], [M] & [CR].
NO ENTRY FEE FOR THE CATEGORY FOR STUDENTS UNDER 16 [S].
Upon uploading of the image files, Payment is directly made via PayPal. The website is secured with SSL. Images submitted without payment of the entry fee for the categories [C], [M] and [CR] are not eligible for judging.
9. CATALOGUE
The best images from the contest will be used to produce a DVD catalogue. This high quality DVD catalogue will be sent to all participant.

11. JUDGING
The judges will award the acceptances, medals and honorable mentions of the entered images.
12. AWARDS
FIAP: Gold; Silver; Bronze Medals; 6 Honorable Mentions all per category
HFS: 1 Honor Plaque for the best photo from all categories.
World Without Wars and Violence, Greece: 10 digital cameras Nikon COOLPIX L26 to the best 10 photos in Student’s Category.
OPTIONAL:
- All 10 best choices per category will receive an Honorable Mention signed by the Greek National Commission of UNESCO and the “World Without Wars and Violence” office in Greece.
- To give acknowledgement and recognition for their work, the 10 best winners per category, will be invited to give a short description of themselves, which will be included in the catalogues.
13. CALENDAR
Entry Closing: September 10th, 2013
Judging’s: September 14th, 2013
Report cards with results: September 21st, 2013
Public presentation: September 21st. Also a series of exhibitions in several cities in Greece and other countries will take place from November 2013 up to October 2014.
